Job Opening: Massage Therapist
with Interest in Ayurveda

Are you an experienced* massage therapist looking to work in a calm, welcoming Ayurveda practice in Amsterdam?
We are looking for someone who can give great massages  and is open to learning our Ayurvedic approach.

Must already have the legal right to work as a freelance therapist in the Netherlands/EU

We can only consider applications from candidates who already have the necessary work authorization. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to applications from candidates without the right to work.

What You’ll Do

  • Give massages using warm oil with care and attention to the client’s well-being. Familiar with Abhyanga massage is a bonus, but not necessary.

  • Conduct a short 5-minute intake at the start of each session to understand how the client’s body and mind feel, and adjust the massage accordingly.

  • Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere: greet clients, make them feel relaxed and cared for, listen carefully to their needs.

  • Work independently in the practice, following our treatment and client care guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

      • *Minimum 3-4 years of massage therapy experience.
      • Skilled in oil massage techniques.
      • Warm, calm, professional, and reliable.
      • Independent and curious: open to learning basic Ayurvedic principles and learning the Abhyanga massage
      • Strong listening and communication skills: friendly, client-focused, attentive to detail.
      • You have a KVK number, or are willing to get one.
      • Fluent in English; basic Dutch is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Steady schedule on mutually agreed days and timeframes from the available ones: Monday morning, Tuesday evening, Saturday and Sunday (possibility to expand).

  • Freelance (self-employed/ZZP) contract with clear agreements.

  • A calm, welcoming practice where you can work independently and further develop your skills.

  • Payment is market-based and competitive.
